Housekeeping Assistant Manager – Soho House Amsterdam

The role…

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Assistant Manager to work with our fantastic Housekeeping team. You will be responsible for supporting our Housekeeping Manager in: planning, organising, and developing the overall operation of the housekeeping department

In this role you must have previous experience with high standards, working with a large, diverse team and also have great attention to detail.

As part of our Soho House Amsterdam team your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact.

Responsibilities include

• Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily


• Support in hiring, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction


• Manage and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office


• To regularly inspect all fixtures, fittings and appliances


• Review Mystery Shop reports, action and train the team to the highest standards

Requirements

• Have +2 years of experience as Assistant Housekeeping Manager or +5 as a Housekeeping Supervisor


• Have time management, organisation and admin skills.


• Have the ability to perform by example for your team.


• Must have a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.


• Fluent in English is a must (any other language is a +).
