Automation Engineer (Onsite, Dutch+English)

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot semi-automated and automated manufacturing lines
• Provide support to Operational Technology systems
• Collaborate with local cross-functional teams and external equipment suppliers to ensure operational efficiency
• Support computer system validation activities to meet regulatory compliance and industry standards
• Ensure timely and effective troubleshooting and resolution of system issues in accordance with agreed SLAs
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing automation and validation processes
• Support and execute Computer System Validation (CSV) activities in compliance with regulatory requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11)
• Ensure timely and effective issue resolution
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to automation systems, processes, and documentation
• Ensure all activities are properly documented in accordance with internal and regulatory standards

• University degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
• Proven experience in automation and OT systems within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of computer system validation (CSV) in regulated industries (e.g. pharmaceutical, biotech)
• Hands-on experience with semi-automated/automated lines and related troubleshooting
• Good understanding of and motivation for working in regulated environments (GxP)
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders
• Experienced working in multinational teams, i.e. sensitive of cultural differences and adaptable
• Flexible and team oriented person
• Collaborative and creative individual who owns and solves problems creatively, can communicate his/her ideas and results very effectively to colleagues and stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Dutch (spoken and written)
• Candidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than three months
