Business Control Specialist

ING is looking for a Risk Professional - 1st Line Of Defence to ensure that ING's activities are in line with regulatory requirements and run smoothly in such a way that it can be demonstrated to the regulators and the outside world.

We have in-depth collaboration with our business partners and our tech colleagues as well as with our 2LoD and 3rd LOD colleagues. The team’s nature is characterized as self-organized, hard-working with a sound dose of humour for reflection and relief. We are open and transparent with each other. Given the current team composition we are looking for candidates with extensive knowledge in the 3rd party, intragroup, intra-entity as well as in IT Risk working area. Understanding of our organization and SRE concepts is a pre.

What you'll do

Contribute to the integrity of ING's products, services, employees and compliance with respect to the outside world. To, for management, identify risks and perform risk management as per the Enterprise Risk Management methodology for the various Risk focus areas within Information Risk Management (Non-Financial Risk).

One of the focus areas is 3rd party and intra group sourcing for which we seek existing expertise such as experience with (reviewing) external assurance reporting, managing service partners (delivery - / receiver side), ability to train staff, etc.

In general, support teams and advise management in managing these risks and the in-control process, by identifying , classifying and reducing the various risks in the business to enable management to control risks and hence prevent or mitigate possible losses for ING.

How to succeed

• CISM and/or CISA certification (Certifications in Audit, Information Security, (Enterprise) Risk Management) is a pre
• In-depth knowledge of Risk Management procedures and methodologies, risk assessments, etc.
• Good written and verbal English language experience (we are an international department operating from multiple locations (NL, Romania & Philippines) with a diverse mix of cultures and personalities and interacting internationally.
• (Prior) ING citizen is a pre
• (Senior) Management visibility
• Orange behaviour (pro active, hands on, situational communication style, initiative, self starter, seeing the work, etc.)
• Humor
