Campaign Photographer

In a nutshell

At Picnic, we believe that incredible campaign photography creates the best shopping experience for our customers. The challenge? Capturing visuals that fit in a small screen and make an impact! Luckily, you’ll be working in our brand new, state-of-the-art photo studio, where you’ll bring your creative vision to life.

As a campaign photographer at Picnic, you’ll join a talented team of commercials, photographers, designers, editors and copywriters. Together, we create engaging campaigns that showcase our assortment, recipes and drive conversion. You’ll gain hands-on experience in developing campaign visuals, preparing photoshoots, and contributing to Picnic’s unique visual identity.

Tricks of the trade

• Continuous improvement: Manage and improve the photography process, ensuring all deliverables are finished on time


• Photography execution: Capture high-quality campaign and recipe images across a variety of categories and themes (e.g. Easter, Europarade and Worldweeks) 


• Technical expertise: set appropriate lighting for each project based on the type of campaign and environment


• Test shoots: brainstorm and experiment with new photography to improve our strategy and visual identity 


• Equipment: order and manage necessary camera tools, props and studio equipment


• Post production: ensure all images are correctly uploaded and retouch images to enhance as needed 


• Time management: Ensure all deliverables are finished on time

Your superpowers

• Degree in a relevant photography and/or design school


• At least 3 years of professional experience in studio/campaign photography


• Extensive knowledge of photography equipment, lighting techniques and Photoshop


• Eye for detail: strong understanding of compositions and styling 


• Inspiring portfolio with food photography examples


• Well-organized: Ability to work on multiple tasks in a given period


• Can-do mentality: you tackle projects, targets and deadlines with enthusiasm and flexibility


• Good English communication skills, verbal and written


• Eligible to work in the Netherlands
