• Responsible to ensure that all food(s) under your charge is / are timely served and as per Company standard.
• Responsible to plan and propose the menus under your charge, keeping in mind the budget, and the availability of seasonal ingredients.
• Responsible to lead the kitchen team under your charge, and assist the team as and when required.
• Responsible to train staff under your charge to prepare and cook all the menu items.
• Responsible to ensure and take ingredients stocks and equipment, and placing orders to replenish the stock.
• Responsible to ensure the safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Responsible to maintain positive customer relationships, process complaints, and respond to customer needs.

Requirements:

• Culinary certification or degree from a culinary school preferred.
• 2-3 years food service or restaurant experience required.
• Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Must be able to communicate (read and write) in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
