The team

Your home base will be the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team, which advises and executes financing solutions for investment‑grade corporate issuers across Northern Europe. DCM is part of ING’s Global Capital Markets franchise and is consistently top‑ranked in European IG Corporate league tables. The team is also a global leader in sustainable finance and private placements, working closely with Relationship Managers and product specialists to deliver best‑in‑class funding solutions.

As part of the Early Career Group, you will rotate through additional CMA teams such as Corporate Finance, Loan Distribution, Acquisition Finance and Corporate Investments, giving you broad exposure and a strong foundation. You will join a collaborative, energetic and international team where learning is encouraged, responsibility is shared, and growth is supported.

Roles and responsibilities

In this role, you will actively contribute to the origination and execution of capital markets transactions. You will support senior originators, analyse clients and markets, and play a key role in preparing advice and deal materials.

Your responsibilities include:

• Building an understanding of key clients, Capital Markets products, and how different CMA teams operate.
• Supporting senior originators in client coverage and advisory activities.
• Preparing marketing materials, pitchbooks, market research, and competitor/sector analysis.
• Performing financial, credit, and market analysis to support origination and execution.
• Assisting in transaction execution, including pricing analysis, documentation, and process coordination.
• Monitoring market developments and preparing updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with other CMA teams to deliver integrated solutions to ING clients.
• Ensuring accurate record‑keeping and compliance with all legal, regulatory and internal standards.
