Job Description - Computational Design Manager

Computational Designer
 
  • Highly skilled in Rhino
  • Highly skilled in Grasshopper
  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in Architecture/Engineering
  • Organized

NOWN is seeking a skilled Architect or Engineer with a minimum of two years of professional experience and a strong command of Grasshopper scripting within Rhino-based computational workflows.
 
This role is ideal for someone passionate about pushing the boundaries of digital design through the development and deployment of advanced 3D modeling, drafting, and drawing tools. You’ll play a key part in enhancing and optimizing our design-to-documentation pipeline, focusing on automation, parametric modeling, and streamlined production.
 
We’re looking for a self-driven and organized individual who thrives on creative problem-solving and technical exploration. You’ll contribute to the ongoing expansion of our custom digital toolset, supporting everything from concept modeling to shop drawing automation.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement parametric Grasshopper scripts for Rhino workflows
  • Create tools to automate and optimize 3D modeling and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with design and fabrication teams to streamline custom project delivery
  • Expand and maintain a robust library of computational design assets
