Consultant Invest

As a Consultant INVEST, you support our clients in realizing their sustainable investment ambitions. You engage with clients, and identify opportunities for sustainable investment support from schemes such as EIA, MIA, SDE, OWE, and VEKI.. You understand the financial fundamentals needed to guide businesses in their projects on renewable energy production, energy efficiency, and industrial energy savings. You enable our clients to create sustainable impact! Your technical knowledge of renewable energy systems enables you to connect with our clients with the right funding opportunities. You will work closely in the INVEST team of EGEN and contribute to the growth and expansion of our services within the investment domain.

• Identifying opportunities to accelerate sustainable investments, especially in the energy sector (TSO/DSO) and industry.
• Developing high-quality project plans, financing applications, and business cases in direct coordination with clients.

• Contributing to the growth of the INVEST team by supporting business development activities and expanding our services.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues to understand client challenges and provide tailored investment strategies.

• You have an intrinsic motivation to create sustainable impact.
• Understand the technical and financial challenges in the energy transition.
• You follow developments in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and investment schemes closely.
• You hold a (technical) university degree in a relevant field, such as energy, sustainability, finance, economics, or engineering.

• You have experience in at least two of the following services: grant proposal writing, project management, business case development, impact assessments (e.g., CBA or LCA), technology road mapping, or business development.
• You have at least three years (Consultant) or seven years (Senior Consultant) of relevant professional experience.
• You have strong financial modelling and calculation skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
