Role Description:
As a Contract Manager, you will initially source a range of contracts. Your role will then transform into contract management, driving contractor performance and contributing to achieving the Siturn Shared Vision and Desired Outcomes. Arcadis operates with multidisciplinary teams on various projects both domestically and internationally, and we are continuing to grow in this field. We are looking for a specialist in contract management. We are seeking a skilled, proactive, creative, and driven professional who is eager to help shape our ambitions in the field of contract management.

Role Accountabilities:
In the pre-award phase, you will act as the procurement lead for work packages and shared services, managing contracts that are not key work packages but essential for their success. These contracts include Air Quality Measurement Equipment, Scaffolding, Geotechnical Investigations, Ecology Investigations, Environmental Services, Lab Analysis, Civil Services, and Small Site Preparations. You will define procurement strategies and tactics aligned with Siturn procurement principles, scope volume and planning for each work package, implement tactics through market engagement and sourcing, and engage with stakeholders to ensure successful contract implementation. In the post-award phase, you will manage both key work package contracts and additional contractors, working closely with Siturn colleagues and contractor counterparts to maximize contract value. You will demonstrate resourcefulness in overcoming obstacles and resolving issues.

Qualifications & Experience:
 

•  Seasoned procurement lead, can work autonomously whilst keeping stakeholders closely involved  


• Awareness of the contract scope (various types of surveys, scaffolding, etc), or willing to familiarise themselves  


• Ability to work in a "start-up" environment where not all work processes are yet defined. Moreover, the candidate should be able to contribute to setting up effective ways of working 


•  5+ years of experience with managing contractors in a complex stakeholder space in a high-stakes environment where safety, sustainability, cost efficiency, and transformative ways of working are the key headlines  


• Always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate  


• Preferably Dutch speaking, since market parties are Dutch  


• English proficiency since program language is English
