We are looking for a new Analyst/Associate to join our Corporate Finance team in Amsterdam.
Tasks
Actively identifying and assessing potential target investment companies
Conduct thorough research on selected target companies, including financial (modelling), strategic, and competitor analysis
Analysis, preparation and drafting presentations of company profiles, market and sector reports, information memorandums and transaction documentation (for sell- and buy-side purposes)
Collaborate with senior team members in marketing and origination activities
Assist in preparing historical and projected financial statements
Analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions
Conduct valuation analysis
Requirements
An effective team player and highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, tenacity and market research skills
Excellent Dutch & English language skills (written & spoken)
Outstanding interpersonal, presentational, adaptability and time management skills
Strong academics, with a completed university degree in fields such as Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or a science study with financial affinity
Previous experience with exposure to transactions from within Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Consulting or Private Equity. Operational/in-house experience will also be considered
Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
Highly proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
