Crypto Options Trader

Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Crypto Options Trader to join our growing Digital Assets team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of options markets and digital assets with excellent local reasoning and mathematical skills. This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in building and shaping a high-impact crypto options trading desk at a leading proprietary trading firm with an entrepreneurial and innovative culture at its core. As a Crypto Options Trader at Flow Traders, you will be part of a dynamic global trading team focused on delivering round-the-clock liquidity across centralized and decentralized crypto venues. You will be expected to take ownership of strategy design, implementation, and risk management within the crypto options space, while also playing a critical role in developing the desk's longer-term roadmap and guiding it to successful execution.

What you will do

• Take a leading role in building and executing the strategic roadmap for Flow Traders’ crypto options trading desk


• Design, test, and deploy options trading strategies across major centralized and decentralized venues


• Refine options volatility surfaces and identify arbitrage or relative value opportunities


• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and engineers to improve models, infrastructure, and execution


• Monitor risk exposure in real-time and apply sound judgment to manage open positions effectively


• Contribute to the automation and streamlining of trading workflows, pricing, and risk analysis tools


• Provide mentorship and share market insights with team members across the global trading desks

What you need to succeed

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in on-screen trading of crypto options


• University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field


• Deep understanding of options pricing, Greeks, volatility, and portfolio risk


• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership in building out new trading desks or products


• Strong technical intuition and the ability to work closely with quant and engineering teams


• Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for crypto markets and innovation in DeFi/CeFi.


• A high-performance mindset with excellent decision-making skills under pressure
