Job Description - CSV Automation Engineer (488)

Réalta Technologies are currently seeking three CSV / Automation Engineers to support a major pharmaceutical project for a client based in Boxmeer, Netherlands.
We are looking for engineers with experience of 8 years+, 5-7 years and 3-5 years for 3 sperate roles on the team.

The successful candidates will work as part of the Digital/Automation function supporting the delivery, validation and commissioning of automated manufacturing systems within a GMP environment.
The roles will focus on the automation and CSV aspects of the project, working closely with the client, project teams, system vendors and integrators. Process engineering activities will be managed by the relevant integrators.

Job Responsibilities

Support the technical analysis, delivery and validation of Automation and IT systems across projects.

Prepare, execute, review and approve CSV documentation and validation protocols.

Develop and maintain Quality Assurance plans and project close-out documentation.

Review automation design and technical documentation from vendors and integrators.

Support FAT, commissioning and field testing activities.

Work with project and site teams to scope changes and ensure appropriate documentation and validation are completed.

Support the integration of vendor-packaged equipment into the site's automation and digital environment.

Support the maintenance, upgrade and lifecycle management of PLC, SCADA, DCS and HMI systems.

Work with OEMs, vendors and integrators to ensure reliable system delivery and ongoing support.

Ensure automation solutions are implemented in line with site, GMP and corporate digital standards.

Collaborate with internal Digital, Automation, Engineering and Quality teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

Essential:

Experience working within pharmaceutical / GMP manufacturing environments.

Experience in CSV / Computer System Validation and/or automation engineering.

Practical understanding of automation systems and controls.

Experience with BAS / Building Automation Systems and/or EMS (Energy Management Systems).

Experience working with PLC, SCADA, DCS and HMI systems.

Experience working with vendors/integrators and supporting system delivery.

Ability to work effectively in a project environment with multiple stakeholders.

Willingness to work a minimum of 3 days per week on-site in Boxmeer.

Desirable:

Experience with Siemens PCS7.

Experience with Desigo CCE.

Experience with Desigo HMI and/or Siemens WinCC.

Experience with Kneat or other electronic validation systems.

Experience supporting FAT, commissioning and start-up activities.

Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or another relevant technical discipline.
