Job Description

As Customer Delivery Manager (CDM), you will operate at the heart of a Long-Term Strategic Partnership (LSP) with one of our hospital partners. This is not a traditional delivery role. You will own the end-to-end success of the partnership, combining:

  • Strategic program leadership
  • Solution and service delivery excellence
  • Value creation and solution expansion within the contract

You act as the single point of accountability for Philips toward the customer — ensuring flawless execution today while continuously identifying opportunities to expand impact, outcomes, and value tomorrow. Your mission is to elevate the relationship from vendor to trusted strategic partner.

Your role:

Strategic Program & Delivery Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of all interrelated projects and services within the LSP, ensuring alignment with contract commitments, customer goals, and Philips standards
  • Act as overall program lead, coordinating multiple project managers, consultants, service teams, and external partners
  • Ensure delivery excellence across service, equipment replacement, consulting, financing solutions, and clinical education
  • Monitor program performance, financials, KPIs, risks, and benefits realization — escalating proactively where needed

Trusted Partnership & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Serve as the primary strategic interface for senior hospital leadership and Philips management
  • Lead and coordinate all governance structures, steering committees, and executive forums
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with C-level stakeholders, positioning Philips as a long-term transformation partner
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments with confidence, influence, and credibility

Solution Growth & Value Creation

  • Identify customer needs beyond the current scope and translate them into solution expansion opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Service, Clinical, and Technical teams to develop and position value-adding solutions
  • Actively contribute to upsell and cross-sell initiatives that solve customer challenges while strengthening the partnership
  • Ensure delivered solutions continue to generate benefits long after implementation

Continuous Improvement & Thought Leadership

  • Drive continuous improvement in solution delivery, governance, and customer experience
  • Apply healthcare industry expertise to proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and innovation opportunities
  • Establish yourself as a thought leader in integrated healthcare solution delivery

You are a right fit if you have:

  • Bachelor/Master degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in customer facing / business development role with experience of interacting senior level of stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in healthcare solution delivery, program management, or strategic partnerships.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare processes, workflows, and clinical/technical environments.
  • Proven ability to combine commercial thinking with delivery accountability.
  • Strong change management, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Executive-level communication skills; able to engage confidently with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience across cross-functional, matrixed teams
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Willingness to be 60–80% onsite with the customer (within reasonable commuting distance).
