Your job

s a Portfolio Manager in the Central Data Office, your primary responsibility is to ensure oversight and supervision of the Data & AI change portfolio. You will ensure smooth portfolio management processes, supporting strategic alignment and execution across all Data & AI initiatives. Your role is pivotal in monitoring progress, ensuring compliance, and enabling effective decision-making at every stage of the portfolio lifecycle.

Your responsibilities

• Support structured oversight of the Data & AI change portfolio, ensuring initiatives align with ABN AMRO’s strategy and goals.


• Monitor progress, track OKRs, and provide clear portfolio insights and reports to key stakeholders, including MT CDO and DataCo.


• Facilitate effective collaboration between teams, acting as a central point of contact for portfolio-related matters.


• Proactively identify risks and implement solutions to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
   

Working environment

As a Portfolio Manager, you’ll join the CDO Portfolio Management Team, providing operational and strategic support to the Central Data Office and Data Domains. We work closely with all business units, international branches, and subsidiaries—at the forefront of the banking industry’s data revolution and with the organization’s most valuable assets. You’ll work at the heart of ABN AMRO’s data and AI transformation, collaborating with experts across domains to shape the future of banking.

Your profile

You are a self-starting generalist with a helicopter view and a strong sense of structure and collaboration. You combine consultancy skills with hands-on execution and have demonstrable affinity with Data & AI (meaning you work smoothly with data teams and understand core concepts).  You also bring:

• 2+ years of experience in project or portfolio management, ideally with Data & AI exposure.


• Strong communicator who connects easily with stakeholders at all levels.


• Flexible, hands-on mindset—proactive in driving improvements and supporting Agile teams.


• Passion for creating an impact that ultimately benefits our customer’s experience.


• Analytical problem-solver with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and fluent in English.
