Purpose of the job

As part of Vision 2030, Anthos is on a transformation journey to an AI-driven Operating Model. Across investment research, portfolio management, client reporting, and operations, AI and GenAI are moving from experimentation into the core of how we work.

As Data Product Owner – Investment Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our data analytics roadmap within our fund of funds investment approach, leveraging and optimizing our existing Microsoft Azure infrastructure. You will own the MyAnthos Analytics Hub, serving as the key expert on analytics requirements, where analytics must aggregate and analyse data across diverse underlying managers and fund structures, supporting our mission-driven, values-based investment approach.

The Team

Data & Technology (D&T) sits at the heart of Anthos' transformation. We operate the firm's data and digital backbone, and deliver the analytics, intelligent automation, and client and regulatory reporting platforms. Our mandate is broad and deliberately interdisciplinary, spanning Data Engineering, Data Governance, BI, AI and GenAI, and digital products. D&T partners directly with Investments, Client Services, Risk, and Operations to translate business priorities into working technology. We are a small, senior team that values craft, ownership, and proximity to the business. Each member operates with meaningful scope, builds with people who will use the output, and ships to production.

The Data Product Owner – Investment Analytics joins to shape our Data Analytics capability and drive the roadmap forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the ‘MyAnthos Analytics Hub’ product lifecycle, managing roadmap, backlog, and delivery coordination across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.


• Act as expert on investment analytics across Portfolio Insights, Performance and Risk analytics, Client and Regulatory Reporting.


• Drive (fund of) funds analytics across complex investment structures including exposures, performance, risk, valuations, transactions, and look-through analytics.


• Design and implement analytics solutions, dashboards, and automated reporting across Investments, Performance, Risk, Operations, Client Servicing, and regulatory domains.


• Integrate data sources and alternative data streams, translating investment requirements into technical specifications and validated data models for development teams.


• Build analytics solutions using BI tools (i.e. Power BI) while coordinating with Data Governance, Engineering, and other Product Owners.


• Coordinate data vendor relationships, evaluate partnership opportunities, and drive AI adoption while ensuring platform scalability, quality, and regulatory compliance.


• Support Microsoft Fabric migration and optimize Azure infrastructure.

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s in Finance, Econometrics, Data Science, or related field.


• Minimum 8 years in investment analytics, fund operations, or similar asset management roles, with strong focus on multi-manager platforms or institutional asset allocation.


• Understanding of fund of funds structures, valuations, NAV calculations, performance and risk analytics, and ESG analytics.


• Experience across public and private markets including private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate data complexities.


• Proven experience building a semantic layer on Medallion architectures.


• Product ownership experience managing backlogs and working with agile delivery teams in an investment management context.

Nice to have: 

• Experience with data vendor management and partnership evaluation processes.


• API design thinking and data product monetization concepts.


• ESG/sustainability data integration and impact investing frameworks.


• Cloud data platforms beyond the Microsoft stack (Snowflake, Databricks).

Skills

• Strong executive-level communication, storytelling, and presentation skills to convey complex analytics insights to senior leadership.


• Excellent technical communication skills translating between business and technical audiences, including data vendor representatives.


• Understanding of modern analytics architecture, cloud platforms, and data processing for informed technical decisions.


• Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality processes in regulated environments.


• Collaborative mindset coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders, including external data providers.


• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
