South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences is looking for an Information Security Officer to start as soon as possible.
Data theft, viruses, sabotage and cyber attacks are just some of the dangers to which universities are exposed as the degree of digitalization increases. In order to counter these threats, South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences is optimizing its information security, setting up an information security management system in accordance with the standards of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI standards) and continuously developing it further. The Information Security Office designs and coordinates this entire process in close cooperation with the various university stakeholders and, in particular, with IT Services. In organizational terms, the staff unit reports directly to the university's chancellor.
The full-time employment relationship is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L) and is open-ended. The classification is in pay group 13 TV-L. In principle, the position is also suitable for part-time employees. The working hours and place of work can be flexibly arranged within the framework of an existing model.
