Deputy Site Manager

Want to help build the future of last-mile e-commerce logistics across Europe? At Instabee (Budbee), we deliver millions of parcels every month for leading merchants like bol, H&M, and Vinted. For our hub in Vianen, we are looking for a hands-on Deputy Site Manager. In this role, you drive daily operations, coach the team, and step in as the direct stand-in for the Site Manager.

What You'll Do

• Lead & empower: Act as a visible leader on the floor—coaching team members, building morale, and ensuring a safe, positive work environment.

• Deputy responsibility: Act as the Site Manager's right hand and take full operational ownership of the site whenever needed.

• Drive KPIs & performance: Monitor daily throughput, cost efficiency, and service levels, proactively resolving deviations in operational processes.

• Continuous improvement: Lead operational changes, optimize workflows, and coordinate with third-party staffing agencies on workforce planning.

• People management: Conduct interviews, drive onboarding, resolve personnel matters, and develop talent across shifts.

General Management Responsibilities

• Uphold Instabee’s policies, safety standards, and labor compliance across the site.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively implementing ideas from the floor.

• Maintain positive collaboration with local workforce representatives and trade unions (where applicable).

What We Are Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or fast-paced last-mile operations.

• Availability and flexibility to work evening and night shifts (essential to our parcel sorting and dispatch cycles).

• A decisive, present leader who thrives on the warehouse floor rather than behind a desk.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a solid grip on operational KPIs.

• Fluent communication skills in English (conversational proficiency in Dutch is a strong advantage on the floor).

• Based within commuting distance of Vianen.
