Your Job
The purpose of this job is to lead the development and execution of the digital strategy within BASF-APV, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable impact. Overseeing all digital initiatives and transformation efforts, optimizing resources and costs to deliver high-value outcomes and enable effective data collection and integration across channels to generate insights into customer behavior and preferences.
You Drive digital demand creation through strategic use of digital channels to attract leads, acquire customers, and support revenue growth. Collaborate across teams to enhance digital tools and processes, continuously identifying opportunities to improve capabilities and adapt to market changes.
Act as the key decision-maker and champion of digital excellence, fostering innovation and embedding best practices throughout the organization
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive digital roadmap that translates BASF-APV’s business and functional strategies into actionable initiatives, driving measurable impact across the Global function
- Lead the optimization of digital channels and tools to enhance customer experience, generate demand, and support revenue growth through data-driven strategies
- Own and manage the digital portfolio, ensuring initiatives are strategically prioritized, resourced, and executed to maximize business value and ROI
- Drive internal digital capability building by improving workflows, tools, and employee digital skills to boost productivity and operational efficiency
- Champion data enablement by establishing robust data ownership practices and leveraging insights from customer behavior and market trends to inform strategic decisions
- Identify and guide AI-related opportunities, ensuring alignment with business needs and successful execution through structured evaluation and budget processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, IT, and customer service to integrate digital initiatives into broader business operations and departmental goals
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators for digital initiatives, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement through data analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Stay current with emerging digital trends and technologies, providing thought leadership and fostering a culture of innovation and digital excellence
- Lead, develop, and empower a high-performing team, setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and cultivating a collaborative environment that supports professional growth and transformation
Your Profile
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Digital Media.
- Certification in relevant areas such as digital marketing, data analytics, or project management is a plus
- Strong understanding of digital technologies and tools, as well as emerging trends and innovations in the digital landscape
- Continuing education and professional development to stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the digital space
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, digital product management, or related fields
- Proven experience in developing and executing digital strategies that align with business objectives
- Experience steering cross-functional teams to execute digital projects and initiatives
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization
