🐾 Dog Daycare Attendant Job Description

🐶 Position Summary

As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you'll be the heart and soul of our canine care team—ensuring every pup enjoys a safe, clean, and fun environment while their humans are away. You'll supervise playgroups, monitor behavior, and provide basic care and enrichment activities to keep tails wagging all day long.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Supervise dogs during playtime to ensure safe interactions and prevent conflicts

Monitor individual dog behavior and report any concerns to management

Feed, water, and administer medications as directed

Clean and disinfect kennels, play areas, and feeding stations

Provide basic grooming (bathing, brushing) as needed

Maintain accurate records of feeding, medications, and attendance

Greet pet parents, answer questions, and provide updates on their dogs

Assist with dog training or enrichment activities when requested

🧠 Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

Prior experience in animal care, shelter work, or dog daycare is a plus

Familiarity with dog breeds and canine behavior

Strong communication and customer service skills

Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays
