Job Description - Ecommerce Associate - Netherlands

At Kids2, we’re really good at what we do. And when we’re great at our jobs, we help parents be great at their jobs.

Parenting is demanding, and that’s where we come in. We want to reimagine how brands can make it easier for early stage parents – not by just selling them products, but by providing holistic solutions that transcend borders, categories and aisles.

No matter our title or department, at Kids2, our job is to create more tiny wins for parents, so they can create bright futures for their little ones. That’s a big task!

We’re serious about what we do, AND we love to have fun. Our team is hardworking, entrepreneurial, and passionate about helping families create millions, if not billions of tiny wins.

SUMMARY

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Ecommerce Associate to support core catalog and merchandising operations within our ecommerce team in EMEA.

This entry-level position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and optimization of product content and pricing for Amazon (Vendor Central) and internal systems (SAP).

The candidate will gain a solid understanding of e-commerce, digital product management, and cross-functional collaboration.

This is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of ecommerce and grow within a fast-moving digital team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Digital Merchandising:

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining the product data and content used across ecommerce channels, with a focus on Amazon Vendor Central. And also supporting other marketplaces in Europe and UK.
  • Optimize product listings, ensuring accurate content (e.g., titles, descriptions, images) across digital platforms.
  • Audit our content language, to make sure translations are localized and relevant to the category and consumer.
  • Support content updates in the Product Information Management (PIM) system (e.g., Salsify).
  • Set up and remove products on Amazon and internal systems in coordination with merchandising calendars and product lifecycle (e.g., new launches, end-of-life).
  • Support digital shelf health audits (e.g., suppressed listings, missing content) and escalate issues when needed.
  • Assist with keyword updates and reporting using platforms like Profitero or internal dashboards.
  • Keep up to date with digital trends and competitor activities to refine merchandising approaches.

Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Assist with coordinating day-to-day operations with the Sales team.
  • Support the execution of product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns by ensuring tasks are completed on time and as planned.
  • Help monitor and maintain pricing accuracy on Vendor Central and SAP, cross checking with received orders and price invoiced to Amazon.
  • Assist in project management by ensuring timelines are met and teams are aligned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 0 to 1 year experience in ecommerce, merchandising, digital marketing, or related internship/academic experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated, process-driven, and eager to learn in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Attention to detail and comfort with content management and repetitive data work.
  • Fluency in English; additional European language skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central or ecommerce platforms (a plus, not required).

EDUCATION & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • Marketplace expertise is a plus but not mandatory (Amazon 1P & other platforms; 3P experience)
  • Adaptability & proactivity in a fast-changing E-commerce landscape
  • Process optimization & problem-solving skills
  • Collaboration & communication with cross-functional teams

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel is a must.
  • A quick test on Excel will be done.
  • Training on Vendor Central will be given.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • In Kids2 Amsterdam Office a minimum of 3 days and up to 5 days per week as needed

We offer competitive pay, flexible hours, and generous benefits. Plus, to keep things fun (because we are all kids at heart), we offer a host of team member activities and philanthropic efforts throughout the year and company-wide awards and recognition for a job well done!
