EDA Software Support Engineer

Communicate with end-users to support software in the areas of polygon level physical IC layout: Analyse and resolve software issues as reported by users Creating specs for new or upgrading existing software features Develop prototypes (in Python) for such features Demonstrate software in these areas (as part of the sales process) Travel to customers or trade-shows for above purposes Communicate to R&D developers to create optimal specifications for new features Implement work-around solutions using Python Bsc or Msc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, 5 -10 years of experience Experience in large (50+ person years) software projects, working in a team Understanding of IC physical layout. Insight in integrated circuit processing steps is a pro Scripting in python Being able to demonstrate these key requirements Travel: Max two weeks per 2 months
