Job Description - Electronics Engineer Medical Devices



Your mission


Do you enjoy hands-on electronics engineering in a product-focused development environment? 
And would you like your work to contribute directly to improving the lives of people with migraine? 

At Salvia BioElectronics, we are developing a breakthrough neuromodulation implant designed to reduce the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks. As we continue our clinical development, we are looking for an Electronics Engineer to strengthen our Development department with solid execution power and technical curiosity. 

As an Electronics Engineer, you will contribute to the development, verification, and improvement of electronic designs that underpin our implant technology. Working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, you will focus on testing, analysis, and design support in a regulated medical device environment. 
You will report to the Director Hardware and be part of a multidisciplinary Development team.



Your Responsibilities


  • Execute laboratory testing and verification activities for electronic systems and components
  • Support electronic design work, including schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, andcomponentselection
  • Perform circuit simulations, signal integrity checks, and basic thermal analyses under guidance
  • Document test results, verification activities, and technical findings in line with quality and regulatory standards
  • Support failure analysis and troubleshooting activities together with senior engineers
  • Collaborate with Quality, Reliability, and Equipment teams to ensure compliant and robust designs




Your profile


  • BSc degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • A solid foundation in analog and digital electronics
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies
  • Familiarity with electronic design and simulation tools (e.g.Altium, SPICE)
  • Experience with schematic design, PCB design, or electronic testing through work, internships, or projects
  • A structured, detail-oriented way of working and eagerness to learn
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to document technical work
  • Experience in medical devices or regulated industries is a plus, but not
