English Editor (fixed term contract)

Robeco's Investment Writing & Translations team is part of Global Marketing. It consists of five investment writers, one content coordinator, and one English editor (going on maternity leave). Our team is responsible for writing, editing, translating and coordinating content that is published via various channels. You will work with colleagues across the organization to produce high-quality texts.

Position & Requirements

Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread English articles, whitepapers, social media posts, podcast transcripts/subtitles, and other (marketing) communications
• Safeguard tone, clarity, and consistency across digital channels
• Collaborate with writers and internal stakeholders under tight deadlines
• Support the content coordinator with the outsourcing of translation requests to our external agency

Required

• Excellent (native) English proofreading, editing and writing skills; a good command of Dutch is a bonus but not required for this role
• 2-3 years of relevant editorial experience, preferably within the asset management, corporate or financial industry
• Language-related higher education
• A flexible and client-centric attitude
• Meticulous organizational skills and initiative
• Ability to adjust intensity of editing depending on client demand
• Knowledge of the investment business is an advantage
