Enterprise Architect

As an Enterprise Architect in the Business Technology department at Rituals, you play a pivotal role in transforming our fast-growing IT landscape into a scalable, structured, and future-proof technology foundation. You help lead the definition and implementation of architectural principles, frameworks, and tooling, while coaching other architects across the organization. Your work establishes IT and AI as key enablers within the company, aligning business strategy with technology evolution and ensuring long-term coherence across the landscape. This role reports directly to the Principal Architect.

Meet the team

You will join the Business Technology department, collaborating closely with product owners, business leads, and IT leadership. You will mentor domain and business architects, lead cross-domain collaborations, and engage with delivery teams to ensure architecture supports Agile and DevOps delivery models.

As an Enterprise Architect, you will:

Shape and lead Rituals’ enterprise architecture strategy, aligning digital and AI ambitions with scalable, secure, and future-proof IT foundations. You'll introduce architecture frameworks and principles, enforce design standards, and guide cross-domain alignment and tooling adoption.

• Deliver architecture roadmaps and evaluate new technologies
• Lead the Architecture Decision Record (ADR) process
• Conduct architecture reviews and coach delivery teams
• Establish visualizations for current and target state architecture
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security policies

We’re looking for a seasoned expert with a strong track record in IT transformation, architectural governance, and leadership in complex environments. Your deep understanding of business, data, application, and technology domains—and your ability to mentor others—will help elevate our architecture maturity.

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles
• Proficiency with architecture tools like Bizzdesign, LeanIX, or similar
• Working knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, and modeling standards
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps delivery models

Success Indicators

• Defined and reported metrics for architectural maturity and governance adherence
• Measured architectural impact on key programs and initiatives
• Monitored adoption and usage of architectural tooling and frameworks
• Acted as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
• Built and nurtured a cross-functional architecture community of practice
• Led workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions

Location and Working Conditions 

While flexible working is available, this role requires a strong on-site presence to engage with stakeholders and build connections effectively.
