About this opportunity

Join Ericsson’s BOS Enterprise Architecture team within MEMA CSS and shape the architecture of complex OSS/BSS transformation programmes across the region. You will provide end-to-end architectural leadership, from network-facing interfaces to business-system integrations, helping customers build scalable, resilient, and maintainable platforms.

The role focuses on OSS/BSS architecture, including integration, service orchestration, order management, and service assurance. You will work across Ericsson’s OSS/BSS portfolio, while partnering with delivery, product, and sales teams. You will influence strategic decisions, engage with senior customer leaders, and help turn business goals into viable technology roadmaps.

What you will do

• Define and lead end-to-end OSS/BSS solution architectures for large transformation programmes, including multi-vendor, hybrid-cloud and on-premises environments.


• Create clear architecture documents, integration designs, decision records, and reusable patterns that guide delivery teams.


• Review and challenge designs to protect quality, consistency, resilience, and long-term maintainability.


• Lead architecture for strategic bids and customer engagements, translating transformation goals into credible, differentiated solutions.


• Present architecture options and recommendations to customer technology leaders and review boards.


• Work with sales and commercial teams to shape scope, assess feasibility, and identify delivery risks before commitments are made.


• Establish practical architecture governance, standards, and reference materials for the regional architecture community.


• Provide oversight across active programmes, resolving cross-programme decisions and addressing design risks early.


• Mentor architects and share knowledge through reusable assets and participation in global architecture communities.

You will bring

• 15+ years of experience in IT and telecommunications, including senior solution or enterprise architecture roles on major programmes.


• A strong record of owning end-to-end architecture for large-scale, multi-country, multi-vendor OSS/BSS transformations and can speak to concrete architectural decisions made and outcomes achieved.


• Built or led an architecture governance function (design authority, architecture board) from the ground up or significantly matured an existing one,  with tangible evidence of improved consistency and quality.


• Represented an organisation in an external standardisation forum (e.g., TM Forum) and influenced the output, contributed to a standard, a working group position paper, or an industry reference architecture.


• Coached and upskilled a team of architects, with demonstrable growth in team competence and individual career progression.


• TOGAF 9 certification or an equivalent enterprise architecture qualification.


• Love solving hard integration problems, enjoy cross-functional leadership without formal authority, be motivated by customer impact, find meaning in standardisation and knowledge-building, & be comfortable with ambiguity and global travel


• Confidence engaging technology and business leaders, with strong written and spoken English.


• Experience with Ericsson’s wider OSS/BSS portfolio, cloud deployments, EMEA transformation programmes, or GIAP certification is an advantage.
