Enterprise architect

As an Enterprise Architect you are responsible for defining and implementing the Enterprise Architecture Domain for the Ewals Group which contributes to the implementation of the strategy of Ewals Cargo Care. You will pro-actively advice and challenge the organization on projects and prioritization of projects.. Moreover, you are responsible for the quality of the modelling of the Target Architecture and the Current Architecture. You will guide and steer the organization in Enterprise architecture but also in Solution architecture and will define and implement architecture principles. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the strategy in the most optimal way and to make the organization future proof.

If you sign your first employment contract before 1st of September 2024 we will give you a starting bonus of € 1.000,00 gross!

What will you do?

As our new Enterprise Architect you are responsible for drawing up frameworks and guidelines for the architecture within the organization. You connect the goals and strategy of business functions and processes with the application landscape and underlying technology and data. You will work close together with stakeholders in the business operation and IT.

Some of your key responsibilities are the following:

• Chair the Architectural Design committee (ADC) with the different domain architects
• Develop the enterprise architecture to ensure the realization of the strategic roadmap of the organization;
• Take part in the Project Portfolio Board and discuss the projects in the ADC;
• Coordinate all Enterprise Architecture activities throughout the Ewals Group;
• Accountable for all Enterprise Architecture Modelling by challenging all contributors and performance quality checks;
• Drive and implement continuous improvement within the enterprise architecture domain.

In this role, we offer flexible working conditions and hybrid working with at least 2 days in the office. Preferably 40 hours per week, 36 is optional. You will receive a market-competitive salary. We offer 28 vacation days with the option to purchase an additional 10 days. We have a pension scheme that is paid almost entirely by Ewals Cargo Care.

What we’re looking for in our new colleague:

• Master degree in Informatics, Engineering or ICT;
• Solid experience, preferably in an international and logistic environment;
• You’re able to communicate and easily align with different stakeholders and levels in the organization
• You have a holistic view, pragmatic approach and strategic mindset
• Good knowledge of the English language, Dutch is a plus;
• In depth knowledge and experience with the TOGAF framework and specifically Archi.
• Knowledge of different architecture concepts, specific knowledge wrt application integration and data integration is a plus.
• Knowledge of trends and innovation within IT.
