As our Events Coordinator, you will join our dynamic Events Experience team, which thrives on creating memorable event experiences. From our flagship event, the annual Conference and Exhibition, to a range of smaller gatherings, we handle all aspects of event planning and execution. In this role, you will play an essential role in making the EAIE's various events a success, ranging from the Annual Conference & Exhibition to a number of smaller in person and virtual events and activities. You thrive in an international environment, are highly collaborative and feel comfortable working independently when needed. You will report to the Manager Events & Sustainability.
Key responsibilities
Act as a core member of the Events Experience team, by contributing to different areas of planning, organisation, and execution of the EAIE online and in-person events and other projects.
You bring your experience and insights to the team and help deliver excellent, creative, inspiring events for the EAIE audience.
Plan, organise, execute one (or more) of the core logistic elements of the Annual Conference & Exhibition (e.g. external staffing, transport logistics, furniture distribution etc.)
Plan assigned EAIE activity/event independently from start to finish and collaborate with other teams in the office
Find suppliers and develop realistic timelines, budgets and orders
Understands knock-on effects of tasks and can communicate and identify delays in timelines
Must-haves
Work experience of 2-4 years in a similar position
Minimum level of HBO degree in a relevant field
Excellent planning & organisation skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Flexible to travel for the planning & execution of the events 3-4 times a year
A valid work permit and already living in the Netherlands

Salary: starting full–time salary of: €3.110 – 3.350 gross per month, depending on education/work experience. This is a full-time, 5 days per week (37.5 hours) role.A contract of twelve months will be offered initially with the expectation of extending. Preferably available to start as soon as possible.
