About the Role
We are seeking a discreet, highly capable Executive Assistant to support senior leadership at our Holland, MI manufacturing company. This is a confidential role that goes beyond traditional administrative support — the person in this position will serve as a trusted link between the C-suite and the broader organization, helping leadership operate effectively and connect authentically with our people.
The ideal candidate combines strong execution and judgment with genuine relationship-building skills. They will work directly with senior leaders, manage sensitive information with the utmost discretion, and play a key role in how leadership communicates with and shows up for the team.
Responsibilities
Leadership Partner
- Serve as a direct, trusted partner to senior leadership, anticipating needs before they arise
- Prepare leaders for meetings, presentations, and key moments — ensuring they walk in ready
- Act as a bridge between the executive team and internal communications, helping translate leadership priorities into clear, consistent messaging
- Manage complex and shifting priorities with sound judgment, especially in sensitive or confidential situations
Communication and Messaging
- Draft, edit, and refine written communications on behalf of leadership, including emails, memos, presentations, and company-wide messages
- Ensure communications reflect the tone, priorities, and voice of leadership while remaining clear and accessible to the broader organization
- Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and agendas in advance of meetings and events
Operational & Strategic Support
- Execute on key initiatives on behalf of senior leadership, bringing structure and follow-through to priorities
- Participate in strategic planning discussions, contributing organizational insight and helping translate strategy into action
- Coordinate schedules, travel, and logistics with a high degree of accuracy and foresight
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with unwavering discretion and professionalism
Relationship & Culture Building
- Build authentic, trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization
- Help leadership connect genuinely with employees, serving as a thoughtful liaison between the executive office and the broader team
- Model professionalism, warmth, and reliability in every interaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting senior executives (e.g., C-suite, VP-level) in a fast-paced environment, ideally within manufacturing or a related industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
- A naturally caring, people-oriented approach paired with strong professionalism
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to build trust and rapport quickly across all levels of an organization
- Strong proficiency with standard office and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Office/Google Workspace)
