Finance Assistant

At Marktlink we are seeking a Finance Assistant in Amsterdam or Deventer who will play a crucial role in the Accounts Receivable and the Accounts Payable side of our finance department. Due to our continued and steep growth we have a big increase in both our sales invoices and our purchase invoices and it is time to increase our team. You will be part of a strong finance team that is dedicated to deliver high quality.

• Verify sales orders prepared by our international dealteams with the signed contracts;
• Prepare sales invoices and send reminders for sales invoices for all our international offices;
• Maintain strong relationships with the international dealteams to stay informed about the Accounts Receivable;
• Allocate purchase invoices for our Dutch entities to the right approval flow;
• Book purchase invoices for our Dutch entities;
• Prepare payments for our Dutch entities;
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to be on top of the Accounts Payables for our Dutch entities.

You have a proactive approach and find fulfillment in supporting colleagues. You are detail-oriented, numerically strong, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Next to that we would like you to have:

• A degree in Administration, Accounting, or a related field;
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
• Proficiency in financial software, such as Exact Online;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Fluent in English and Dutch;
• Availability to work at least 24 hours a week including Monday and Wednesday.
