Join the Swapfiets Finance team and play a key role in our finance operational processes. Do you have SAP S/4HANA experience and know what it takes to ensure an accurate and complete finance administration? Then we want you as our newest team member!

As Finance Employee, you will be part of the financial control team. Reporting to the Junior Finance Manager, you will join a team that works 2 days a week at the office and 3 days from home. We work hard (especially during month-end close), but we give lots of fun and flexibility back. On top of that, we have dedicated time to learn and/or develop anything you want!

The responsibilities of this job are (but not limited to):

• Process invoices, claims, and business expenses accurately and efficiency 

• Respond to second-line finance inquiries from suppliers, customers, and internal teams

• Managing bank statements and preparing payments for Swapfiets entities

• Overseeing the asset register (activation, depreciation etc.)

• Handling rent preparation and processing

• Assist with month-end close activities, including for intercompany, suspense accounts, accruals, payroll accounting, VAT returns and spare parts

• Assist with year-end financial audits

• Assist senior finance staff with various projects and daily financial tasks

• Assist in the administrative, legal and procurement process

• Contribute to finance related projects to improve business processes 

Requirements 

Your profile:

• Secondary vocational qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Ideally 1–3 years of relevant finance experience

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset

• Good skills in English (other languages like Dutch, German or Danish are a big plus)

• Critical and analytical thinking towards our processes to keep things simple and efficient

• Great team spirit
