Monday Merch is the go-to full-service merchandise partner, helping brands with product selection, design, production, warehousing, shipping, and merch store management. We make merch easy for HR professionals, marketing teams, and event organizers worldwide.

Your Goal

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving our financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, optimising cost structures, and securing subsidies across multiple regions. You will play a key role in scaling our financial processes to support our growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Insights – Deliver monthly P&L reports to the management team, analyze discrepancies, and provide actionable insights for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

• Finance Team Leadership – Lead and optimize the performance of our remote finance team, ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Process Improvement – Continuously refine financial workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and optimize cash flow management.

• International Tax Compliance – Collaborate with our tax authorities and accounting offices in the Netherlands, Germany, and the USA (future) to ensure proper tax filings and regulatory compliance.

• Subsidy Acquisition – Identify and secure financial grants and subsidies in the Netherlands, Germany, and the USA to support our growth initiatives.

• Adaptability & Growth – As a fast-growing company, new challenges and opportunities constantly arise. You will take ownership of financial tasks and projects that come up along the way.

• Financing & Credit Management – Develop strategies for efficient financing, optimize the company's capital structure, and implement measures to improve the company's credit score to secure better financing terms.

• Cash Flow Optimization – Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow, ensuring the company maintains sufficient liquidity to support its operations and growth initiatives.

Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.

You

• A proactive finance leader with 3+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or controlling.

• Experience in B2B, e-commerce, or logistics is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to financial decision-making.

• Comfortable working with Exact Online, Odoo, and Excel/Google Sheets.

• Hands-on and able to work independently while managing a remote team.

• Fluent in English
