Your mission
We are seeking an experienced and autonomous Finance Manager to build and lead our finance department. This is a unique, hands-on opportunity to shape our financial infrastructure from the ground up. You will be responsible for the entire spectrum of financial operations, from ensuring accounting integrity and regulatory compliance to building a robust treasury and liquidity management framework.
This foundational role is perfect for a driven professional with 5+ years of experience who is ready to take full ownership of the finance function and grow into a senior leadership position as the company scales.
Your Responsibilities
- Treasury & Liquidity Management: Develop, implement, and manage a robust cash flow and liquidity planning process to support our trading operations. This will be one of your first and most critical tasks.
- Accounting Ownership: Own all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, revenue recognition, and tax compliance under Dutch GAAP.
- Financial Reporting: Manage the full month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and subsequent variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Internal Controls & Audits: Establish, document, and enhance internal controls over financial reporting. Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Autonomous Operation: Act as the go-to expert for all finance, accounting, and treasury matters. You will be expected to work independently, proactively identify financial risks and opportunities, and seek external guidance when necessary.
