Job Description - Finance Specialist

Our organization is seeking a Bookkeeper to manage daily financial transactions and provide administrative support for finance-related tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple financial and administrative responsibilities efficiently. This role will report directly to the GM EMEA and work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
  • Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements and tax filings
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting by gathering financial data
  • Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and compliance
  • Handle administrative finance tasks such as vendor contracts, invoice approvals, and financial correspondence
  • Support the finance team with general administrative duties, including scheduling, report preparation, and document filing

Qualifications:

  • HBO in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or financial administration
  • Proficiency in Exact and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and Dutch GAAP
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to manage multiple financial and administrative tasks efficiently
