Financial Accountant/Controller - NL

As Financial Accountant/Controller at OnLogic’s Oosterhout office, you will report to the Director of Finance and you will be the cornerstone of our Dutch finance department. As an allround, hands-on finance professional, you will enjoy the full spectrum of accounting. On an average day, you'll…

• Be working on the Monthly Close & Reporting: Take ownership of the General Ledger, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets. You ensure a timely, high quality month-end close.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all accounting transactions and processes.
• Prepare VAT filings and reconciliations.
• Manage customer credit risks.
• Reconcile our bank statements.
• Process payroll and benefit administration in cooperation with our HR team.
• Assist with budget preparation and prepare reports for the management team.
• Prepare payments.
• Working with external auditors and assisting in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts.
• Look for opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability through automation and streamlining accounting processes.
• Identify areas of risk and implement mitigation strategies, including but not limited to workflow, cross-functional collaboration, and system and process changes.
• Work with our global headquarters on all matters Finance.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related fields.

• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience. Preferably in an international manufacturing environment. 
• Experience with VAT.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel.
• A hands-on mindset: you enjoy diving into the details of the ledger just as much as preparing reports.
• Fluency in English, Dutch is preferred.
• Able to travel to our office on a daily basis, fulltime.

The salary range for this role is € 4.500  to € 6.000 per month. We determine final compensation based on conversations with applicants and their experience in similar roles. Besides a base salary we will offer you a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
