Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in the Netherlands. This role involves ensuring compliance with CSRD, VAT, and corporate tax regulations, managing intercompany accounting processes, and supporting SOX controls in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Success in this role requires analytical precision, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and additional language skills in Dutch or Mandarin being advantageous.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement processes for CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) compliance.
• Oversee VAT, Intrastat, and reconciliation reviews to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
• Collaborate with tax advisors on corporate income tax (CIT) filings and reporting.
• Execute intercompany processes, including invoicing, transaction recording, account reconciliation, and elimination entries.
• Advise and maintenance ( Sox )  processes in cooperation with Internal Control and control owners.
• Assist and support revenue reporting ( currently 1 employee ). 

Qualifications:

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. CPA designation or Big 4 experience is strongly preferred.

Experience:
• Technical accounting, or auditing roles

Technical Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and Dutch GAAP.
• Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP and Workiva.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and technical accounting skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proactive and flexible mindset with strong organizational abilities.

Languages:
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch and Mandarin is a plus.
