As the senior member of our finance team, you’ll be at the heart of all financial planning, analysis, reporting, and investor relations. You’ll work alongside senior leadership, driving business decisions and contributing to strategic planning and fundraising. What you'll do

• Lead the monthly financial reporting process, providing clear, actionable insights into the company’s financial health.

• Challenge and monitor business performance, acting as a key advisor to the commercial and operational teams.

• Build and maintain robust financial models for cash flow forecasting and long-term growth planning.

• Take charge of cash flow management, including expenses, payroll, and working capital oversight.

• Own investor reporting, managing the planning and control cycle, and eventually becoming the primary point of contact for investors.

• Dive into financial data to uncover key insights, helping leadership optimise performance and meet growth objectives.

• Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic initiatives, enhancing business growth and operational efficiency.

• Continuously improve financial systems, exploring opportunities for automation and process optimisation.

• Contribute to the development of financial infrastructure, building out key systems and tools.

• Support fundraising efforts with impactful financial insights and analysis, helping secure future rounds of investment.

• Strong experience in financial analysis, reporting, and planning, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment (Big 4 experience is also highly valued).

• A solid understanding of accounting principles.

• Proven expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Highly analytical, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus but not required).

• Familiarity with Exact Online is a bonus.

• Must have all required working permits (no sponsorship) and be based in the Netherlands.
