Financial Officer

We are seeking a Financial Officer (24 hours per week) at Netwave Systems B.V. , Zoetermeer (part of Seas of Solutions)

Your Role

In your role as a financial Officer, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the organization’s financial administration. You process and record daily financial transactions, making sure all records are complete and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle supplier invoices and ensure timely payments


• Oversee customer invoicing and follow up on outstanding balances


• Support healthy cash flow and strong vendor/client relationships


• Perform reconciliations (bank accounts, ledgers, balance sheet accounts)


• Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly


• Assist in preparing periodic financial reports


• Provide management with clear financial insights


• Support reporting with accurate data and variance analysis


• Ensure compliance with policies, accounting standards, and regulations


• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation


• Support cost control initiatives and identify irregularities


• Improve financial efficiency and processes


• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations


• Provide financial insights to support business decision-making


• Contribute to an efficient and well-functioning finance organization

Profile:

• Education level, at least MBO


• Knowledge and experience in administrative / accounting processes


• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position


• Knowledge of Windows and MS Office and experience with accounting software


• Proactive, accurate and hands on – roll up the sleeves mentality


• Team player with good communication and interaction skills


• Fluency in Dutch and English (both verbally and written)


• Interested in a parttime position - 24 hrs. per week
