As Financial Reporting Analyst, you play a key role in delivering accurate, reliable and timely reporting that supports LYNX's Finance, Compliance, Legal and regulatory obligations. You own recurring and ad hoc reporting, ensuring that data is accurate, well-documented and delivered on time.
Working closely with Finance, Compliance and Legal, you build robust reporting processes, improve data quality and help automate reporting where possible. Your work contributes directly to regulatory compliance, financial transparency and informed business decision-making.
What you'll do
- Own recurring and ad hoc reporting for Finance, Compliance and Legal.
- Support tax and regulatory reporting by delivering accurate and timely reporting outputs.
- Act as the main point of contact for reporting and data requests from internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain SQL queries, data models and reporting pipelines that are reliable, repeatable and well documented.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency and traceability of reporting data.
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks that support business insights and regulatory oversight.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate reporting processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into practical solutions.
Who you are
- You have 3+ years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, data analytics or a similar role.
- You have strong SQL skills and are comfortable writing and optimizing complex queries.
- You have working knowledge of Python and enjoy using it to automate reporting processes.
- You have excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- You are experienced in building reliable reporting processes and working with structured data.
- You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with Finance, Compliance, Legal and other business stakeholders.
- You take ownership of your work and consistently deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience with dbt.
- Experience with BI and dashboarding tools.
- Knowledge of tax or regulatory reporting.
- Experience within fintech, brokerage or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment products such as Options and Futures.
