The Outside Sales is responsible for managing qualified solar sales opportunities from initial appointment through contract execution and project completion. This role works closely with internal teams to support lead coordination, customer qualification, CRM accuracy, and a smooth handoff from sale to installation.
Manage qualified solar leads from consultation to signed contract
Coordinate customer appointments and follow-ups
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales updates
Support customer qualification and financing verification
Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams
Deliver a professional customer experience throughout the sales process
Requirements
Experience in solar sales or customer-facing sales roles
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with CRM systems and sales tools
Knowledge of solar proposal tools is a plus
Self-driven and comfortable working independently
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for customer visits

This is a freelance, commission-based role designed for independent professionals. The collaboration is structured to maintain contractor independence and avoid employment-like relationships, in accordance with applicable local regulations.
