Freight Forwarder Airfreight Export

To provide the highest-level customer experience through the processing of air export shipments. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prioritize, schedule and route shipments for air export transportation
• Assist with day-to-day coordination, execution and tracking of air export shipments 
• Schedule and arrange pickups
• Book space with air carriers
• Complete air related documentation, including airway bills, pick-up orders, manifests
• Complete EEI filings as required with 100% accuracy 
• Liaise with overseas offices and partners
• Prepare rate quotations for ICAT clients and agent partners
• Prepare air shipments for invoicing
• Active participation in team meetings
• Manage international payables with finance
• Assist when needed to review vendor billing discrepancies (variances)
• Prepare quotations and coordinate documentation between customers and vendors to include overseas agents
• Support the ICAT CX initiative by providing a high level of customer satisfaction and operational proficiency to meet growth and profitability goals as well as providing customers with WOW experiences.
• As we are a startup office in The Netherlands we will require you to be flexible towards handling import and road shipments until we grow.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• MBO+ level of work and thinking, and at least three years of demonstrable experience within the logistics sector.
• HAve an excellent command of both Dutch and English, in both spoken and written forms.
• Experience with Cargowise is a plus.
• Able to foster accountability and commitment to achieve department goals

• Outstanding communication skills – Excellent verbal and written with an emphasis on listening
• Extremely well organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
