Front end developer

Are you a hands-on front end developer and like to work in a fast moving and highly challenging environment? Do you love autonomy to introduce your own ideas and creativity to build a strong and solid technical environment? We are looking for people like you who know their way around building scalable and slick web platforms!

As a Front-End Developer you will work at our office in Amsterdam. You will have a strong focus on JavaScript and experience with React, NextJS and Node. You will be delivering complete end-user experiences, portals and AI powered tooling in a white-labeled fashion, and you have the responsibility (and freedom) to choose the best tool for each job.

Besides this, you have an impressive level of knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS and design. We see our people as T-shaped. Your main expertise lies in technical front-end development, but you also know how to do a little sidestep towards design and API/back-end development whenever this can help the solution forward.

A passion for collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

• UX  web and mobile experience

Do you have?

• Advanced knowledge of NodeJS and ECMAScript

• Expertise with client-side frameworks like React, Angular, and Next.js

• CSS/SASS is second nature 

• Knowledge of consuming APIs/REST-based web-services

• Experience with tools like Storybook, Webpack

• Understanding of C# and some experience migrating from asp.net MVC view engine.

• Deployment experience with nginx, docker, Aws ECS

• Expertise in prototyping and rapid development

• Affinity with frontend unit testing frameworks

• Familiarity with design and architectural patterns

• Knack for writing clean, readable code

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable and testable applications

You might also have?

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience

• Knowledge of building your own boilerplate project templates

• Experience with the AWS Ecosystem 

• Experience building multi tenanted applications and white labeled products

• Docker, Redux, Containerization

• Secret ninja pool or table tennis skills
