In 2016 we have established the "Professional Services" department within the global Topcon organization, including our region in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). We have a global team covering all positioning related applications. The key responsibilities are: training, sales support (demo's), consultancy and technical support. The diversity and amount of projects have grown and are still growing. 

To keep up with the demands from the market we are looking for a 

Geomatics Application Specialist

to strengthen our team on the Geomatics/Survey Application side. This extra team member shall work closely with Professional Service leadership and Sales in a pre- and post-sales role for Topcon distribution partners and end customers. With a priority focus on the traditional Geomatics support: Total Station applications, GNSS application support and related MAGNET field and office software. Involved in dealer sales and support training programs, provide technical sales demonstrations and other sales support requests of Topcon's surveying and construction precision instrumentation.

Core job duties:

• provide pre and post sales support in Geomatic/Survey products and applications
• provide support and training in all Geomatic office and field solutions
• work closely with Sales and Marketing staff to provide business solutions
• communicate and collaborate with Professional Services, sales support, production, Product Management and other departments on issues affecting all Geomatic products
• resolve dealer/customer complaints and queries
• prepare online technical content for my Topcon (https://www.topconpositioning,com/support) and elearning (https://elearning.topcon.com)
• all common Professional Services activities, in line with current duties and experience in communication with your team leader and/or manager.

Minimum job requirements:

• Geomatic Engineering, Survey Engineering or similar preferred
• > 3 years practical survey experience

Knowledge & Skills:

• strong professional service skills
• problem solver
• proficient with survey software and common CAD applications
• proficient in IT use
• good communication skills (written and verbal)
• good training and presentation skills (in person and online)
• good in English (verbal and written)

Physical Requirements:

• should be able to lift 22,5kg
• will be required climb on heavy equipment

Working Conditions:

• 30% travelling EMEA wide
• active job sites (roads, building)
• office environment
• instructor lead trainings in person and online
