Job Description - Global Strategy Manager

Optiver is one of the most reputable and innovative market makers in the world. We offer a unique opportunity to join our Global Strategy team as a Global Strategy Manager. In this role, you will work directly with the firm’s senior leadership on the toughest challenges to protect our competitive positioning and successfully expand our impact and footprint. WHAT YOU’LL DO



  • Lead and deliver high-impact strategy projects that address some of Optiver’s most important and ambiguous business challenges.  



  • Partner closely with the Executive Committee and senior business leaders as a trusted thought partner, providing clear, concrete insights and recommendations.  



  • Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, ensuring alignment, momentum, and tangible outcomes across the firm. 


 


WHO YOU ARE



  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience, for example, at a leading tech firm, a financial institution, a top-tier consulting firm, or a private equity firm.  



  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills; capable of thinking strategically while paying attention to detail.  



  • Excellent project management skills.  



  • Strong stakeholder management skills.  



  • Experience in performing data-driven analyses.  



  • Strong sense of ownership and personal responsibility.  



  • Hands-on mentality and can-do attitude to achieve results.  



  • Ability to quickly grasp new topics and make them their own.  



  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convert complex issues into succinct insights.
