Job Description - Golang Platform Engineer

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.

Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.

Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.

Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

Design, build, automate, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient Kubernetes platform capabilities using Golang.

Build and maintain infrastructure solutions leveraging cloud-native architectures, Linux, networking, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and observability tools.

Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, architecture, risk, and operations teams to deliver reliable platform capabilities aligned with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Drive operational excellence, platform automation, and continuous improvement to enhance developer experience across the organization.

Translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders and influence technical alignment across multiple departments.

Core Engineering: Golang, Kubernetes, Container Technologies, Cloud-Native Architectures

Platform & Infrastructure: Linux, Networking, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, Automation

Operations & Governance: Observability, Reliability Engineering, Stakeholder Management, Enterprise Risk & Compliance

Certifications: Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS)

Container Platforms: Experience with OpenShift or other enterprise container platforms

Service Mesh: Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd

GitOps: Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
