Job Description - Government and European Relations Manager (all genders)

As the Government and European Relations Manager (all genders), you will be responsible for managing VÆRIDION's relationships with government bodies and European stakeholders. You will oversee the identification and application for public funding opportunities, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. Your efforts will be pivotal in advancing our initiatives in zero-emissions aviation.

Oversee research and maintain an overview of public funding sources on state, federal, and European levels.
Lead decision-making on which funds to apply for, in close collaboration with project management.
Drive the application process for funding calls, sometimes in collaboration with consultancies.
Align and manage stakeholders to incorporate their topics into funding applications.
Lead the organization and the calls for funds of already granted projects.
Manage European relations with all stakeholders involved in public funding, research, and zero-emissions aviation.

Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Business, Environmental Science).
Extensive experience in public funding, government relations, or a related field.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Deep understanding of European public funding mechanisms and policies.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
Passion for sustainability and zero-emissions aviation.
