Groundworker Full-time

Hey! We’re Filip Bricklayer – a close, family-feel team that’s been handling groundworks, builds, and renovations for years. We’re picking up more projects and need a dependable groundworker to join the group.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

• Carrying out excavation, levelling, backfilling, and preparing ground layers
• Digging trenches and foundations by hand or with small machines
• Loading/unloading soil, sand, gravel, and building materials
• Assisting with laying pipes, cables, drainage, and utilities
• Prepping sites for paving, foundations, or landscaping
• Helping keep the site safe, tidy, and organised
• Working alongside machine operators, bricklayers, and the rest of the crew

What we’re looking for:

• At least 1–2 years as a groundworker or similar hands-on site work
• Experience with hand tools and small equipment (vibrating plate, mini-digger is a plus)
• You have (or are willing to get) VCA certification
• Driving licence B (BE or C is a bonus)
• Flexible with different locations around the country
• Decent English (Dutch is helpful but not required)
• You’re physically fit, safety-conscious, and take responsibility seriously – but you also appreciate some freedom to manage your workday
