Growth Marketeer - Meals & Recipes

In a nutshell

At Picnic, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Growth Marketeer specializing in Meals & Recipes, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping customers discover the joy of cooking with Picnic. You’ll join the Meals Team, the driving force behind all of Picnic’s meal solutions: from developing +1000 recipes to launching our distinctive mealplanner.

You’ll collaborate with recipe developers, analysts, and creatives to develop engaging customer journeys, craft inspiring communications, and manage growth projects—all centered around meals and recipes. Your mission is to make cooking with Picnic irresistible by putting our customers first.

Tricks of the trade

• Design customer journeys to inspire customers to explore and embrace cooking with Picnic.


• Lead growth projects to drive engagement with meals and recipes, from ideation to execution. Spot opportunities to innovate, whether through recipe activations, direct mail campaigns, or seasonal promotions.


• Build and optimize communications across channels (email, push, WhatsApp, in-app, direct mail) to keep meals top of mind for customers.


• Run weekly campaigns to engage customers with new recipes, meal ideas, and seasonal themes.


• Analyze customer behavior and campaign performance, conducting A/B tests and leveraging customer insights to continually improve outcomes.


• Collaborate with campaign managers, recipe developers, and other teams to ensure every project is impactful and executed flawlessly.

Your superpowers

• Master’s degree in Marketing Management, Marketing Intelligence, Business, Communication Science, or a related field.


• 1-2 years of work experience in (digital) marketing or a similar role.


• Strong emphasis on accuracy and thoroughness in campaign execution.


• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.


• Equally creative and analytical, with a great eye for detail and dedication to perfect execution.


• Fluent communication in Dutch and English.


• Experience with marketing automation systems (e.g., Selligent or Braze) is a plus.


• Comfortable working with large relational databases (using SQL).
