About your role

We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead our finance team and steer the company’s financial strategy. This is a critical leadership position where you'll be responsible for the financial health of Fairphone, ensuring we can continue to grow and deliver on our mission. You’ll be a strategic partner to the management team, providing insights and guidance to inform key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, including long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
FP&A and Financial Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic insights and detailed financial models to support key business decisions across the company.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to ensure the company's liquidity and financial stability.
Investor Relations: Act as a key point of contact for our investors, managing communication and financial reporting to maintain strong relationships.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls and compliance procedures are in place.

Your Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Head of Finance or a similar financial leadership role.
Strong strategic and analytical skills with a track record of driving financial performance.
Deep experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including creating and managing complex financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
Experience with AI-powered financial tools and a willingness to explore how artificial intelligence can optimize financial processes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
Deep knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
