Head of Finance

Our client is seeking a motivated team member to assist them in overseeing our finance and administration function. Ensuring accurate and timely accounting and reporting, along with executing other administrative tasks is the top priority for this role.

This company has been a leading manufacturer of balloon valves and sewer valves for over 70 years. Their products reflect extensive experience and expertise and are produced through an efficient and modern manufacturing process while embodying craftsmanship.

This Role

This role is part of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for properly executing finance and administrative tasks which enable accurate and timely financial reporting of the Company's results. Responsibilities include accounting, tax, accounts payable, costing, credit and collections, financial reporting, budgeting, and banking, while providing appropriate and timely financial analysis to management and the International Business Team.

What Your Workday Look Like

This role is based at our location in Eijsden. While exceptions may arise due to job requirements, the workday normally begins at 8:00 am and ends at 4:30 pm.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of accounting, tax, budgeting, reporting and banking experience;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French and German is advantageous;
• Competent with accounting and other software applications;
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work as a member of a team;
• Committed to accuracy and doing things the right way.
