Job Description - Head of Production

How you’ll be contributing to Manometric as Head of Production


Manometric is transforming orthoses and prosthetics from medical necessities to products people love to wear.


We create innovative custom orthoses with our unique production approach that combines 3D scanning and printing, with automation software, and a highly skilled team. We’ve grown rapidly in the Netherlands, and are expanding within Europe, the US and beyond.


As Head of Production, you’ll be responsible for ensuring your team and partners are able to meet this growing demand.



What the role entails


Owning Production


As Head of Production it is your role to make sure that your team is set up for success day to day and week to week. You will ensure our partners and our team know what products they are working on that day, which to prioritise, and that they’ve got the tools and materials they need to deliver.


Leading the team


You’ll be the Leader for the team. This means you are responsible for hiring and onboarding new team members, and supporting, coaching and motivating the current ones. The current team is skilled, inventive and has a great collaborative culture. It will be your role to maintain and grow this culture further.


Taking us to the next level


We are growing fast, and to maintain that growth, we have to reinvent ourselves every year. This will require you to lead critical projects such as: coordinating an office move, trialling outsourcing processes with partners, or using data more as part of the team’s day to day.




We’d love to hear from you if…


  • You love working with your hands - in your spare time you use tools, to create or repair things.


  • You have experience leading an Operations team, and hiring new team members.


  • You enjoy fighting fires, and can keep a cool head.


  • You love collaborating with people, have a good sense for how people are doing and can get the best from teams you work with.


  • You are organised. You are clear on your own priorities and what you need to get done, but also bring this clarity to your team, aiding their delivery.


  • You are comfortable analysing problems using GSheets or Excel


Bonus points if you have:


  • Experience creating new HR and Recruitment processes for Operations teams


  • Successfully created and implemented dashboards


  • Previously outsourced production processes and set up strong relationships with partners


  • Set up a brand new office space
